At the NEU conference in Bournemouth of the National Teachers Union, the delegates took part in a fantastic solidarity action for the campaign and called for the release of Abdullah Öcalan. The NEU has been with the campaign from the start and the campaign’s co-chair Baroness Christine Blower is a former General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers a predecessor union of the NEU.
The campaign gives it’s heartfelt thanks to the NEU for its support.
